NBI Renewal : How to Renew Your Clearance

With the online system now in place, renewing your Clearance is a simple process, offering both renewal and door-to-door delivery options. This guide outlines the essential steps to efficiently complete your online renewal.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have the following:

  • A previous Clearance
  • Your old NBI ID Number.
  • A mobile phone with the GCash app installed.

Step-by-Step Guide to Renew

1. Access the NBI Website
  • Open your browser and go to clearance.nbi.gov.ph.
  • And NBI Log In Account with the required details.

2. Start the Renewal Process

  • Locate the “NBI Clearance Online Renewal” box on the homepage.
  • Click the “CLICK HERE” button to proceed.

3. Fill Out Personal Information

  • A form will appear asking for your Old NBI ID Number, Mobile Number, complete name, and Date of Birth.
  • Ensure all details are correct before submitting.

4. Verify Your Information

  • Click the “Verify” button to submit your details.
  • If you encounter an error, it might be due to an invalid or unregistered NBI ID Number. Note that only Clearances issued from October 2016 onwards are retrievable in the database.

5. Choose Verification Method

  • You will be asked to verify your identity. Select from:
    • Mother’s Information (recommended)
    • Mobile Number used during registration
    • Email Address used during registration
  • Enter the required information and click “Verify”.

6. Payment Details

  • The total fee is P155.00 (P130.00 for the clearance + P25.00 service fee).
  • Select GCash as the payment method. A pop-up window will appear with your NBI Renewal Reference Number. Take note of this number.
  • Open the GCash app on your mobile phone.
  • Go to “Pay Bills” and search for “NBI”.
  • Enter your NBI Renewal Reference Number, contact number, and the amount (P155.00).
  • Confirm the payment and take a screenshot of the receipt for your records.

7. Select Delivery Method

  • After the payment, return to the website.
  • Choose your preferred delivery method:
    • Pick up in NBI Branch: You will collect your clearance from an NBI branch.
    • Door-To-Door Delivery: Your clearance will be delivered to your specified address.

8. Door-To-Door Delivery Details

  • If you choose door-to-door delivery, you will be redirected to DeliveryBox.ph.
  • Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
  • The delivery fee is P200.00 within NCR and P350.00 outside NCR.
  • Fill out the DeliveryBox form with your Complete Name, Address, and Mobile Number.
  • Pin your delivery location on the map.

9. Confirm Delivery Fee Payment

  • Select GCASH as the payment method.
  • Enter your GCash mobile number and the 6-Digit authentication code sent to your registered mobile number.
  • You will receive a confirmation text for the payment.

10. Wait for YourI Clearance

  • After completing the steps, wait for your Clearance to be delivered to your address if you chose door-to-door delivery. Keep your GCash payment receipt for future reference.
